Number 21 on my year goes to StoryHack. The story known in these parts as "de-wolfed Ben," which was my Writers of the Future non-winning Finalist, will grace their pages soon.
You guys, I am so happy about this, you have no idea. It's a 9000-word behemoth hard-sell thing, but it's one of my very favorites.

WRITERS OF THE FUTURE JUST CALLED ME.
I'm a finalist for Q1! That means my story is in the top eight. We'll find out in three weeks or so who the winners are.
Oh my GAWD, y'all. I am positively giddy. I've had nine Honorable Mentions, and this is my first time placing this high. And it's for a Ben story.

Today's to-do list, oh God.

Today, I:
- worked on edits for the Revelator story. It's much better now.
- reduced the synopsis for Angry Bitter Angel to under 500 words.
- helped the Hubby with his Mustang restoration project.
- went over De-wolfed Ben.
- exised 150 words from De-wolfed Ben in an effort to make it Suck Less.
- watched a movie with my family (Oz, the Great and Powerful, or ( Read more... )
